On September 2nd there was a General Boycott at one of the Hong Kong University's. Before the rally could begin, a man wearing red clothes and speaking Mandarin suddenly rushed to the stage, tearing up the banner. He then flashed his passport and shouted "I am Chinese! You are not worthy of being college students!" He also tried to destroy the sound system on the stage but peaceful pro-democracy students took the stage to prevent him from continuing to make trouble.
