Cops to record statements from those who allegedly defamed Zakir Naik

Bukit Aman CID director  Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed on Sunday said police will call up and record the statements of the men who allegedly defamed controversial preacher Dr Zakir Naik by next week.

Dr Zakir had lodged a report against Human Resources Minister M. Kula Segaran, Klang MP Charles Santiago, Bagan Dalam assemblyman Satees Muniandy, Penang Deputy Chief Minister II Dr P. Ramasamy and former ambassador Dennis J Ignatius for allegedly making defamatory statements against him.
